Kip Sowden
Kip Sowden has over 22 years experience in commercial real estate with a strong background in both real estate brokerage and mortgage financing. He has been active in the sale of more than 11 million square feet of commercial real estate and over 25,000 apartment units throughout the United States. He has also been involved in the financing of over $500 million in commercial real estate loans. Kip has brokered the sale of over $2.5 billion in commercial real estate transactions on behalf of some of the largest institutional owners in the United States.
Prior to founding Realty America Group, he was a founding partner of iCap Realty Advisors. At iCap, Kip was responsible for their national investment sales program. He primarily exclusively listed and sold property for institutional clients encompassing all product type from single asset sales to multi-asset portfolio transactions across the country.
Kip is a 1985 graduate of The University Of Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He is a licensed real estate broker in Texas and Georgia and is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, the Greater Dallas Board of Realtors, Dallas Real Estate Council, the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBAA), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Texas Real Estate Commission, and the Georgia Real Estate Commission.
